ARA-Bux Review

ARA-Bux is the PTC site of a company called ARA-UK. And they advertise themselves saying "We have something that most other PTC companies don't - the trust factor!" Let's see what they really have.

Reliability: (3/5)
They are a registered company, that's a plus. But, here's the trust problem. They have been selling referrals and now they decided to start to rent them. And for the new system, old referrals should be deleted. That's also OK but I bought 100 refs 2 weeks ago, for a price of $90, and now they are renting referrals for $40. So I will keep my bought referrals for a total of 23 days (until the start of new system) but the price for 100 referrals for 30 days is actually $40. When I asked for a compensation, I couldn't get an answer. So I can't trust them fully anymore. Trusted companies compensate their consumer's losses. That's what I learned.

Ads for Clickers: (5/5)
You get $0.01 per click and there are 12 ads a day for standard members. This is an extremely high number for this time. We used to see this much of ads back in February'08 or something.

Sustainability: (2.5/5)
10 ads out of 12 are directing you to the site, so they are not making any money with those 10 ads. No wonder they had to change the system from "bought referrals" to "rented referrals". I was going to give 1 point on this category but this renting could save them for now.

Referrals: (3/5)
You get $0.01 per referrals' click. After 24th of October, they will rent referrals. The price is $0.4/referral. So, 5 refs for $2, 35 for $14, 100 for $40 and 500 for $200. Only referrals who have made at least 5 advertisement visits in the last 7 days will be given and there is no such a thing as replacement. I think 5 ads in 7 days (0.71ads/day) is a very bad deal especially when they have 12 ads/day. For example NeoBux is renting only the referrals who have made at least 10 clicks in the last 5 days. (2 ads/day!), moreover, in spite of their only 4 ads/day!

Payments: (3/5)
Cashout at $10. Waiting time is 10 businnes days for premium, 30 businnes days for free members, by TOS. They are posting payment days daily in their forums so you can estimate your payment date.

Ads for Advertisers: (3/5)
100 ads for $1.99, Average market prices for a 1+1 site.

Design: (3/5)
Nothing special.

Customer Support: (4/5)
Admin and moderators are mostly in forum, answering questions.

Premium Membership: (4/5)
1 month membership costs $9, 1 year membership costs $59. Its advantages are 3 times shorter waiting time (10 businnes days) for payments, useless 20+ ads to click daily, 1.25 cents for your own clicks and 1.25 cents for referral clicks. These are the standards for this type of sites. But because of the existance of a "monthly membership", they deserve 4 points here.

Neobux Review #3 - How's it going after 6 months?

I have written 2 NeoBux reviews so far. (1 & 2) Now it's been 6 months after those and NeoBux jumped to the 1st place among PTC sites. Since too many things changed in this 6 months, I think it's time to write a new review now.

Reliability: (5/5)
Extraordinary design, continuous innovation, incredible support, instant payment... All the features I will discuss below are signs of reliability. The fact that they don't even paused instant payments, when Paypal froze 72% of their accounts, can be considered as a proof for 100% reliability. NeoBux is absolutely the most trusted PTC now, by far!

Ads for clickers: (3/5)
Number of ads are at least 4 per day. If you check very frequently, you can find 10-15 ads daily, because ads are shown at the exact time the advertiser wants.
There are 2 types of ads:
30 second ads are 1 cent, ref. earnings 0.5 cent (50%).
60 second ads are 1.5 cent, ref. earnings 1 cent (67%). But these are VERY hard to catch.

Referrals: (4.5/5)
You get 50% for 30 second ads and 67% for 60 second ads. Referrals are not sold, they are rented. A feature invented, and started to copy by SandraClicks, ARAbux, and many others.
Prices are $0.20/per referral/per month for golden members and $0.30/per referral/per month for standard members. But if you have too many referrals, the price will increase. If you have more than 1750 referrals, the price will be $0.27/$0.37. All referrals given to you are clicked at least 10 ads in the last 5 days.
You can choose which referrals to keep 30 days more and pay for them for another month, anytime you want. You can also recycle any referral you want for a price of $0.08. Moreover, inactive referrals are replaced auromatically after 15 days of inactivity.
A unique rule (which is copied by BuxOut and SandraClicks now) in NeoBux referral system is, "Maximum_Referral_Clicks_Today = (Your_Clicks_Yesterday * Number_of_Referrals)". This means, for example, if you clicked 5 ads yesterday, and have 100 referrals, your maximum referral earnigs today is 5*500=500 clicks. So you get the money for the first 500 clicks only, for today. This will prevent users to buy/rent/refer many members and than leave the site for weeks. Everybody must click!

Payments: (5/5)
This is the best part. Payments are INSTANT. You request your payment and in 5 seconds, it's in your Alertpay account! If anything happens, they guarantee to pay within 48 hours.
Minimum payout is $2 for 1st payout, $3 for 2nd, $4 for 3rd and so on until $10. Minimum payouts after your 9th payout is $10.
You have to wait 4 days before requesting another payout though. Not much of a problem.

Ads for Advertisers: (4.5/5)
30 second views: 200 ads for $5, 500 ads for $11, 1000 ads for $18, 2000 ads for $34, 5000 ads for $80, 10000 ads for $155
60 second views: 200 ads for $9, 500 ads for $21, 1000 ads for $34, 2000 ads for $65, 5000 ads for $155, 10000 ads for $295
The prices are the average of the industry, but as far as I know, NeoBux has the most successfull cheat-proof system, so you will get REAL humans to your site.
You buy credits and then can distribute them among your advertisements. And there is a demographic filter. You can choose up to 20 countries to show the ad, or just show it to all members.

Sustainability: (5/5)
Absolutely sustainable! Why?
1. Referral earnings are 50%, many sites changed their 100% ref. earnings because of its unsustainability. NeoBux was was one of the first who saw this.
2. All ads on NeoBux are from real advertisers.
3. Referral renting, which also NeoBux invented and now copied by many sites.
4. Jackpots. At least 50% of Jackpots are pure profit for NeoBux.
5. All prices are fairly determined to make the site sustainable.
Moreover, when Paypal froze 72% of the accounts, NeoBux continued to pay even instantly. So, even without its 72% of funds, they could run the site without big problems. As this problem is over now, the site will continue to run smoothly.

Design: (5/5)
They designed the site from scratch, therefore it doesn't look like any other site around. (There are some copycats now though.) It's unique. Admin knows programming and adds many features to the site now and then.

Customer Support: (5/5)
Very good support! The admin is almost all day long on the forum, aswering questions and even asking users their opinions about new features for the site, by placing polls mostly. The site goes in the direction which most users want.
Support tickets are answered very fast too.

Premium Membership: (4.5/5)
It's called Golden Membership, costs $90 for 1 year and processed immediately when you request. You get still 1 cent from your 30 sec. ad clicks, but 60 sec. ad clicks are now 2 cents instead of 1.5. You also get a minimum of 9 ads/day. (instead of 4)
But the main advantage of getting golden membership is, you get 1 cent (instead of 0.5) from referrals' clicks to 30 sec ads, and 2 cents (instead of 1 cent) to 60 sec ads.
So, it increases your referral earings by 100%. You can also see your referral's graphs. There is a downside though, referral packs for golden expire too fast, and getting referrals is hard. (That's why I deducted 0.5 points.) I suggest you get ~500 referrals before getting golden.
There are also advanced golden packs.

NeoBux is an unique and innovative PTC. No other PTC could give the automated system for purchases and even PAYOUTS when NeoBux established. Now, 7 months after its launch, with more than 1 million members, they are still providing the same support and payment services as before, developing every day. And now there are new sites like BuxOut and SandraClicks, following NeoBux' steps.
NeoBux is definitely the best PTC at the moment, and if they can survive the PayPal issue, I have a feeling that they will stay that way for a loong time.

Neobux: Paypal situation recovered + donators will be awarded!

Several days ago, Paypal froze Neobux' account with 72% of funds in it. Then Neobux put a donation link for the losses, and some members started a petition. And today, before I even could write something about this Paypal situation, we got this great anouncement from admin:

Uronlinebux is the PTC owned by UrOnlineBiz, a famous online businnes oportunities review site. So, there is no possibility of scam. Possibility of them to go bankrupt is also not high, since I think that they are knowing what they are doing.

Reliability: (3/5)
The fact that the owners are the same with UrOnlineBiz takes the reliability of site higher. But the rude attitude of admin and the new "Picture ID" rule takes it back.

Ads for Clickers: (4/5)
They don't have too many ads, 6-10 daily, but give 1c/click + 1c/ref. click.

Sustainability: (4/5)
Giving 1+1 cents per ad is too much, but most ads are from real advertisers, so UrOnlineBux highly sustainable.

Referrals: (4.5/5)
5 Referrals are for $6.99, 35 referrals for $34.65, 50 referrals for $49, 100 referrals for $98.90, 500 referrals for $459.00. Referral prices are slightly higher than average. Premium members get their referrals replaced if they buy 100 referrals, all members get their referrals replaced if they buy 500 referrals.
They have also one unique feature that they sell premium referrals, 20 of them for $100. Too expensive and mostly unnecessary.

Payments: (1.5/5)
Cashout at $10. Waiting time is 15 businnes days for premium, 60 businnes days for free members, by TOS. You have to click 50 ads between your cashouts. They introduced a new weird rule that thay "might" ask for a picture ID and proof of address before paying you. 7 months ago, they (UrOnlineBiz) bashed paid.vg because of that and said;

When clicking request payout today at Paid.vg you will see they have put up a new verification process that requires you to give the Paid.vg owner sensitive information about your identity as they is “apparently” needed to check for cheaters.
DO NOT "FOOL" FOR IT, the information your being requested to send includes a photo ID and any other form of documented ID such as a pass port or gas bill. If you read the signs you will know that AlertPay does not even request such information and nor does any other PTC site. So why is this guy trying to get your ID?

And the article continues talking about identity theft and that paid.vg is not reliable. But now, they are doing the same. But we can say that UrOnlineBux is much more reliable than paid.vg and I will probably "fool for it" and send my documents if wanted. I just don't like this disingenuous attitude.

1 year membership costs $59. Its advantages are a very nice 4 times shorter time for payments, useless 20+ ads to click daily, 1.25 cents for your own clicks and 1.25 cents for referral clicks.

Evolution in Neobux!

Neobux introduced the new packs, higher than Golden. Emerald, Sapphire, Platinum, Diamond and Ultimate. If you are a golden member with at least 500 clicks, you can start adding the required money to your golden pack balance and wait for the big pre-release hour, 13th October, 11PM, GMT! But before that, let me investigate new packs a little bit. We can start with the table:


Rental queue: Sapphire, Diamond and Ultimate members can add themselves to the queue of the stated amount of referrals, and buy them without trying desperately many times. This is a very important feature, as renting referrals becomes harder and harder every day for golden members.

Referrals per page: I really can't understand why this is presented as a new speciality. It should just be a choice on personal settings page!

Jackpot tickets discount: Emerald, Platinum and Ultimate members will buy Jackpot tickets with some discounts. Very nice for the members with many referrals, who can only buy jackpot tickets to rent referrals.

Inactive days free replacement: Referrals will be replaced when they don't click for 12, 10 or 7 days. That could mean a %50 decrease in recycle expenses for Ultimate members.

Vacation mode: I think it's not nice to give this feature only to those who can pay this much money. This mode allows you to not click for a stated amount of days in a year and we were waiting for it to be introduced for a long time. Maybe it can be introduced for all members for small fee? I don't know.

Rental waiting days: Waiting days before you can rent another pack of referrals. Nice.

Recycle price per referral: Are you sad because of the new high recycle prices. Buy ultimate and reduce it to a nickel again!

Days between cashouts: With new packs, you can cashout every 24 hours. (or 48, or 72...) No need to wait 4 long days now.

Maximum referral package available: This maximum packages are bought with the old system, so it's not that significant. But if you can easily rent 100 referrals with the old system, than this feature is for you!

Autopay minimum days limit: Autopay option will pay your clicking referrals if they have 10, 14 or 18 days left, instead of 20. Nice.

Maximum limit to rent referrals: You don't need to waste money on Jackpot after you have 2000 referrals! (Now you have to do it after you rented 4000. But with discount!)

Monthly payment discount: You pay less to extend your referrals days. Autopay price is also reduced accordingly. One of the most useful features. With 4000 refs and a Ultimate membership, one will get a $120 discount/month!

Available advertisements and your advertisement clicks value: Pretty useless features. Don't miss out that this values are only for your OWN clicks!

If we look at the table throughly, it's quite obvious that Ultimate pack has by far the best advantages/price ratio. In fact, I would say other packs are a little useless, because they have some features but don't have some other very important features.

And it should be said that some of this new properties are actually the ones that have to be available to all members. Apparently it won't/can't be done and Neobux will use its "problems" to gain more profit, by selling "problem-free" packs with a high price tag. Moreover, monthly referral payments and recycle prices were just raised, and now by paying hundreds of dollars, we can lower them to their old values. This is what I call commercial intelligence! But this smart move also proves that the site will be online for a looong long time. So, don't worry if you cannot see any new cashouts from NeoBux for some weeks on buxreview. I'm saving all my money for the Ultimate pack and the referrals I'm gonna buy just after the pack on 13th of October. :)

Isabelmarco is not paying anymore

Isabelmarco is only paying premium members after today. Everybody can join the site, click and play and earn but if you don't pay, you can'T get payout. Look at this quote from isabel at their forum:

If you can't pay 9$/month , then we are realy sorry.
well we are not a social network, where you can get things if you don't have money.
If you want to stay , you stay and after a while you go Premium, you have more then time enough.
If you are not happy with the decision, just stay away and don't spam the forum with insults because we won't tolerate this !
We thought already a long time to do this, well now its done and it will stay that way.

The part I made bold is the lamest argument I ever heard. Isabelmarco is a "pay to click" site damn it! You get MONEY from this site, not THINGS. And now they want us to pay money to get money! How clever!

After I bought 45 referrals, and replaced 5 of them for a total of $1.25, I managed to get my first instant payment of $5.14 from BuxOut. That means I earned 6.39 in 8 days!

Neobux tips for starters

I've been asked many questions like "Why does NeoBux have only 4 ads?" lately. So I thought a little guide for starters including the answer may help. Yes, NeoBux has not that many ads like other sites, it mostly has 4-6 ads in a given moment. Will there be an increase? I hope so, but;

First point to mention here is that advertisers can start and stop their ads whenever they want, so if you go and check a few times in a day, you can find much more ads in a day.

Second, most of the ads are not "sponsored", meaning real people give those ads and the prices are not that cheap, but to continue its best and unique feature, instant payments, it must be like this. They can't waste their money like other sites,which pay in 1 to 6 months. New instant paying sites BuxOut and SandraClicks also have 4-6 ads.

So, how can we earn the most in NeoBux? Nowadays, renting referrals is not easy, if you're a golden member. So, my tips to earn more in NeoBux;

1. First rent at least 300-500 referrals, (maybe 1000) by renting 100 every week, and than get golden membership.
2. Always leave autopay on. (Because it will pay only for active referrals and will pay smaller amounts.) Autopay only works for referrals that have more than 20 days left.
3. You can see the average clicks now! Yay! So, recycle referrals that click lower than the others in average. (I have 1100 referrals and recycle those who click lower than 1.5/day, if I had ~300 I would use 2)
4. Don't forget to keep your referrals (which are not clicking every day and therefore not kept automatically by autopay) after one month, using the link "Pay for another month". Don't lose'em! I assume your autopay is on, then the referrals who have (If you're not golden, you can let the ones clicking less than 2/day go.)
5. Don't forget to click ads everyday! You can't get any money if you don't click anything. According to TOS, your daily earnings are limited by "your clicks per day xnumber of referrals. (If you click 4 ads when you're standard member or 9 ads when you're golden, it's unlimited.)

Earn3 and extra10 are going down?

OK, I know that I wrote a semi-optimistic post about earn3 and extra10 5 days ago. But my feelings go more pessimistic every second. Why?

1. There are queues 3000 people long and only 2-3 people are paid daily.
2. The owner of both sites is not answering any questions on his own forum, it seems like he's just disappeared! But,
3. Guess what? He's on PTCtalk forum, giving answers like; "I'll pay pending payments at the speed that site revenue comes in, I cannot promise anything more." So you don't have money and don't earn enough either, then why do you still give ~10 ads/day and $0.01/ad dear Willj? To go bankrupt faster? You should give 2-3 ads/day and lower the click value! And why did you dropped the minimum payout to $3? Makes no sense.
As we can see, the speed is only enough to pay 2 people per day*, meaning these lines (if they will not grow) will end in 4 years??? I suppose in 2013 they will start their "instant payments". Oh but they said "instant payments coming soon". Hmmm.
4. The owner is answering questions about BuxOut in forums and "helping" BuxOut, as BuxOut is his "friend's" site. I hope BuxOut is not to fund earn3 and extra10, or vice versa.
5. He constantly criticizes other sites, especially SandraClicks, which is the "rival PTC" of BuxOut these days. Not good.

All these are looking just like the way Honestbux and BusyClicks are, some months ago. Than they became ad-only. I hope these 2 sites will not share the same fate. But if they do, I really hope that they don't take BuxOut down with them.

*To be honest and precise, earn3 paid 3 people/day and extra10 4 people/day for the last 5 days.

I won $500 from SwatCash!

Firstly, I have to admit this post is a little (about 2 months) late, because of my holiday and laziness.

Secondly, I have some bad news. Since 6th of June, SWATcash only accepts members from US, UK and Canada. Lucky international members like me who joined before are staying and using the site as they use before, but no new sign-ups from other countries are allowed. They decided to do this because it was the only way to sustain the site. Members from other countries don't have enough offers to complete, therefore they bring nothing to the site but only earn money from the world map. (The only solution I could come up with was allowing PTC offers, so that international members can have offers too, but they will not allow this.)

Now, the good news (for me at least). I won $500 from "May's Monster Chat and Forum Scavenger Hunt" in Swatcash, and got it (plus some referral earnings minus some donations) to my PayPal! This was the more than I got till that day. (Albeit as of yesterday I received a total of $674 from Neobux)

How did this happen? In SwatCash, there are special contests every month. For this May, it was "May's Monster Chat and Forum Scavenger Hunt." It took place on 31th of May. They changed 15 things in site on the evening of May 31th, (4 AM in the morning at June 1st for me:) ) and asked us to find them in 2 hours. At the end, I came second and had to choose one of these prizes:

3x - XBOX 360 Elites
3x - PS3 40 GB
3x - $500 Cash Prize
10x - 8 GB nanos (You chose color)
3x - iPod Touchs 32 GB
7x - $250 Cash Prize
3x - Wiis

Considering I'm an International member, it was not that hard to choose my prize. At the end of June, they shipped the prizes. (Or added them to our accounts) And at the end of July, I got my payment:



Normally, monthy payments are made at the 15th of the month, but for July only, it was delayed. But it was of course absolutely OK for me, since I got my biggest payment till that day!

Why is it $505,58 instead of $500? I had $14,58 of referral, PTC and Offer Earnings, but I donated $9 of my bonus earnings from scavenger hunt to open the goods page in armory. (You have to earn $5 in offers or donate $5 from bonus earnings to open the goods in armory.) Now I can purchase PayPal bonus with SC's I collect from the world map and daily attack!

Buxout Preview: They SELL referrals while paying INSTANTLY!

BuxOut has also instant payouts but has one big difference from NeoBux and SandraClicks. The others are renting referrals, but BuxOut sells referrals, AND you can also recycle your referrals still! Sandra Clicks has a similar design and features like NeoBux. Instant payments, referral renting, referral recycling, $0.01 per click and $0.005 per referrals click for normal members and $0.0075 ref. clicks for premium members. As you may now, Earn3 and extra10 are 2 nice PTC sites owned by the same admin, so,

+ The payout on earn3 is again $3. (Was $3 from the start, than was raised to $10)

+ Both sites anounced that they will introduce instant payments! They now have a line system for payouts, until instant payouts are introduced, you can see how many members are before you on the line to payout.

- The lines are going a little too slow. They pay only 3-5 standard members a day. I requested my payouts on 10th and 13th July and I'm on 222th and 186th. (on earn3 and extra10, respectively.) It's been already ~50 businnes days. (TOS states 60)
I thought they will pay these lines very fast and when they finish everybody, they will start instant payments. Now I hope this is not the case.

Many people are having a hard time getting paid from Isabelmarco's Moneymaker these days. But I think I found the way to get the money.

They announce the payment days on their forum. (For example they're paying the free member requests from 2nd of August today, 33 businnes days, not bad eh?) So, request your payment by PayPal (if possible) and just PM "Isabelmarco", after the day you requested is past on that topic. So if you requested at 1st of August, pm now. I got my last 2 payouts using this formula. :)

As we can see from the recent ugly banner invasions to the site, it seems like they lack funds a little and don't want to pay that easy, so you have to really want your money!

Another thing is, there is a silly "warning" on that payment days topic:

We also noticed that a lot free members (thousands) are only here with us to profit, but never invest a single dime.... so we have to change and do something at this, we will make a thread about this later.

What did they expect? This is a site to make money. I'm sorry dear Isabel or Marco or whoever but they are not "a lot", all members are on your site to profit. And they don't have to invest to get profit*. It's not a "pay to invest(?)", it's a PAY TO CLICK, I think this means people can earn by clicking ads, doesn't it? What are you going to do about this? Are you going to pay only those who invested? I'm really curious...

*I cashed out $53.85 at earn3 and $53.24 from Uronlinebux, without spending a dime on those sites.

NeoBux introduced PayPal cashouts!

A month ago PayPal has reviewed the NeoBux website and their business strategy and concluded with assurance that NeoBux has nothing that goes against PayPal's Terms of Service.
8 days ago, NeoBux introduced purchases by PayPal.

And now, you can cashout to PayPal!

But there are 2 things to know:
1. A small fee up to $1 will be deducted from each cashout. (2% if below $50)
2. Cashouts are only available to PayPal verified accounts. (You can get verified by adding a bank account or credit card to your PayPal account. This is the way other trusted sites (like SwatCash) do, and actually I wouldn't trust a site that pays to unverified PayPal accounts. PayPal can stop the accounts of those sites anytime. But with NeoBux, we'll not have this problem for sure.)

Isabelmarco is Down

As you may have noticed, Isabelmarco's Moneymaker and some other sites are down since yesterday. It's because their host had to take down the servers. So, nothing to worry about, the problem should be fixed in a few days. (Or hours maybe?)

Significant increase of ads in NeoBux!

Right now I see 14 ads in NeoBux, 2 of them are extended (those with the blue background), meaning they worth 2 cents for golden members. The ads with a "GOLDEN" badge on them are only for golden members. A feature released just 2 hours ago! By the way I got my 8th payout from Neobux.
